With 512MB, the ultra-compact xD-Picture Card doubles its maximum capacity. Users can shoot for longer and take more high-resolution shots before they need to download the images or change the ultra-compact Olympus card. For example, when shooting 2560 x 1920 pixel photos with the 5 million pixel Olympus CAMEDIA C-5050ZOOM, up to 32 TIFF files or 416 HQ images can be saved on the removable media. Besides its diminutive size of 20 x 25 x 1.7 mm, the new Olympus card naturally also maintains the other qualities of the xD-Picture Card media: fast read/write speeds, low power consumption, durable design and wide compatibility with a huge variety of digital cameras.
