FujiFilmXerox Phaser 7760 tabloid color laser printer : Fujifilm USA and Xerox have aligned their expertise to provide retailers a complete photo print solution to create photo books, photo calendars, greeting cards and other customized toner-based photo products. The new photo print solution will be offered by Fujifilm and will include Fujifilm’s digital photo systems and Xerox’s Phaser 7760 tabloid color laser printer. Fujifilm’s complete solution for the retail photo market offers seamless integration into a retailer’s existing Frontier PIC workflow so that orders can be received from a GetPix kiosk ordering station. The complete solution includes software, consumables, binding and finishing equipment and the Xerox Phaser 7760.

Fujifilm Image Intelligence software is incorporated into the workflow to ensure, crystal-clear images with fine line detail and crisp text. “We are deeply committed to supporting our retail partners by providing them with the tools they need to meet evolving consumer demand, drive store traffic and increase revenue,” said John Meyer, vice president, commercial marketing, Fujifilm U.S.A., Inc. “To bring this solution to market, we wanted a partner that could meet Fujifilm’s quality standards and Xerox products have an unmatched reputation in the industry for the highest caliber of digital color output.”

The Xerox Phaser 7760 color printer offers duplex printing for photo books, calendars and cards; and a maximum resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi with a 600 x 600 x 4 dpi Photo Mode to ensure smooth color transitions. The printer features a first-page-out time as fast as 9 seconds for color, printing speeds up to 35 prints per minute for color prints and 45 prints per minute for black and white prints. The Phaser 7760 accommodates a wide range of paper sizes up to 11.5 x 17 inches.
